It Was Jason Sudeikis Legal Documents in Olivia Wilde’s CinemaCon Envelope Mystery

The mystery packet picked up by Don’t Worry Darling director and star Olivia Wilde during her CinemaCon presentation last night for the New Line film was legal docs from Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis, like something out of a cliched Hollywood scenario.

The manila packet labelled “personal and confidential” that was placed onstage, according to our sources, included custody documents from the Emmy winner.

Wilde and Sudeikis have been separated since late 2020, and they have two children together. Although the pair was engaged, they never married.

Deadline has reached out to representatives for both Wilde and Sudeikis, and we will update as soon as we hear back.

Wilde was briefly halted at a Warner Bros. CinemaCon discussion at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum when an unidentified person approached from the front rows and slipped a manila envelope across the stage toward her.

She took the envelope off the shelf and opened it. Wilde, on the other hand, remained unfazed by what must have been a shock.

With her personal life thrust into the spotlight, the director continued to speak to the audience, which was mostly made up of exhibitors, about her project
