Man charged after police officers stabbed in London



LONDON: A man was charged with attempt to murder on Saturday after two police officers were stabbed to death in Central London, Scotland Yard Told.
Muhammad RahmanThe 24-year-old, from west London, has been charged with attempted murder of a male constable; London Police Headquarters said a woman constable with intent to cause serious bodily harm after being stabbed in Leicester Square on Friday.
Rahman was also charged with two counts of assault and threatening a person with a bladed object in a public place, charges related to three other constables.
He was also charged with robbery and possessing a bladed article.
Rahman will be produced in a south west London court on Monday.
Police said on Friday that the stabbing in the Leicester Square entertainment district was not believed to be related to terrorism.
