A video that is going viral on Twitter shows lava erupting from an Icelandic volcano. The dark-themed video has surprised many users, who compared the scene to “a cat from hell”. The two-minute-long video shows cracks caused by erupting magma and hard rock, which looks like a cat. As the camera spins, it shows the lava passing through a canyon, giving it the shape of a tail.

One user simply wrote “omg,” while another said, “Looks like a cat from hell.” A third user commented, “Pray for the bridge so that you have a chance to live and come to the land of ice and fire.”
The Fagradalsfjall volcano in southwest Iceland erupted at 1:18 p.m. (local time) on Wednesday.
